Summit Barbeques

Once a month, all year long, the Summit hosts an unbeatable barbeque. (If it's raining, no big deal; there's plenty of room under the awning.) A different Washington state brewery's fine work is featured each month. You'll meet the brewers in person, and learn more about how they do what they do and what they've got their beer-making focus on. And, of course, you can sample their fine work at special prices. We also hand out quality giveaways (no cheap beads or plastic hats), raffle off prizes, and generally put on a great party with a low-key vibe. Check the calendar for dates and details.

 

The Tour and More at the Summit

The Summit's by no means a sports bar, but then bicycle racing's by no means a mere sport. Every July, we broadcast the Tour de France, the world's greatest cycling race, showing each stage twice daily with English commentary in the electric atmosphere only a full house of fanatics can provide. Every 14th of July brings our annual Bastille Day party, a massive bicycle bash. In honor of the Tour, throughout July we showcase special beers from around the Northwest that have been stored and aged to perfection in the Summit cellar - beers like Maritime's Jolly Roger, Dick's Double Diamond Winter Ale, Elysian Bifröst Winter Ale, Hales Wee Heavy Winter Ale, and (all the way from California) Anderson Valley Winter and Summer Solstice ales. We also televise the great spring classic races such as Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Milan-San Remo, and the Amstel Gold. Check the calendar for dates and details.
